I tried to speak with Severus again today. He set my beard on fire. It was most disconcerting to say the least. I haven't had anyone try and do that since my brother Aberforth did it nearly 80 years ago. He was most displeased that I had sold his goat, but honestly diary, that relationship was most inappropriate. I'm afraid I must give poor Severus more time, lest I lose a body part. I have decided that I should like to try my hand at camping. Not as wizards camp, with spacious tents fully stocked with all the comforts of home, but as a muggle. Sleeping under the stars in a bag, cooking over a fire, communing with nature. I think, dear diary, that I should stock up on lemon drops. Life is so much happier with a nice lemon drop, don't you think?
All my love, Albus Dumbledore |

| Diary 3 |

Dearest of Diaries,
It was a very eventful week. Not only did I contact my boys, Harry and Severus, who tried to kill me,but also young Sirius Black as well. It woud seem he was too good for the veil and it spit him back out. Sounds dreadful really, all of that hoping about. Harry and Sirius have reconcilled their differences for now, and I believe their relationship will do well. It wouldn't do for Snape to discover what it is I have done to him, but it was for his own good. And it will help Harry as well. I may as well lived up to my title of meddlesome old fool!
AH! Speaking of fools, I've had an idea, a way to get all my boys in one place at least once a month. Did you know, dear diary, that the provinicial bird here is "The Common Loon" Indeed it is. Isn't that wonderful! It is my plan to begin having regular "Order of the Loon" meetings. A place we can all meet and discuss events and such pleasantries. Of course, that would require Severus not set on killing me for good this time. Or, Sirius killing Severus. Which would lead to Harry killing Sirius out of revenge. Oh dear, we do quite need Remus Lupin soon. He can keep a calm head, and he has some control over Sirius. Between you and me, dear diary, I think remus refuses to put out until Sirius gives in, and Sirius is quite fond of the sex.
I also dropped by a large 'canadian cookout' along the shore of a young man's house. I am embarassed, dear diary, that I do no recall the man's name. However, I met a young girl called Lulu and she made the most divine cookies! Perhaps I should ask if I could pay her to make those for me on occassion. They were absolutely splendid! And I mustn't forget the young boy. He moved around like a snitch. It was quite fascinating to watch. Sadly, these old bones don't move as well as they used to.
As I was going home, I saw a most intriguing man. He walked with a cane, obviously for show, not need, and he had the happiest countanance of anyone I've ever met. I must make an effort to make his aquaintance.
That is all for now, dearest diary,
Your Servent, Albus Dumbledore |

| | melancholy | ] | Dearest of Diaries,
I have failed, as of yet, to locate my lost boys. I do so hope that they have found each other, as I have wanted for so very long. Aternaville is a most interesting place, secrets lying just under the surface. There is one secret in particular that I must deal with today. According to Remus, another of my lost boys is in this town, and it is time the two of us had a talk, for he has much explaining to do. Very much indeed.
Sincerely, Albus Dumbledore |

| | cheerful | ] | Dearest Diary,
I have finally arrived in Aternaville, Canada! I was able to make my way here relying completely on muggle transportation. Oh my, but the plane ride was quite an adventure! I must tell Arthur that it was quite safe and he really should try it.
Alas, my dearest diary, I'm afraid this will be short. I must find my boys! I'm sure they will be so happy to see me. I'm positive that they have missed me, as much as I have missed them. Though, there is a good chance that Severus will try to hex me. Or worse. Ah well, boys will be boys!
With much affection, dearest diary, Yours, Albus Dumbledore |
